Since then the group has evolved to six musicians, have recorded six albums. Long Time Coming in 1998 which is an album showing the colour between the songwriter and the our love of music. Spinning around in Jupiter came next with the levels of production and song skills mastered from years of practice was a grand collection of different tastes. The third album Sun, Sex, Sand & Charlie Chan has seen another direction for the band hitting mainstream Radio is Sydney We released an EP Another moment of weakness which was influenced by our guru Craigo Smoove has just been released and Sympathy love and religion have taught me fear which is our R&B collection. `Our music comes from a lot of different styles'. From home baked artists like Midnight Oil to international bands like Collective soul & King Crimson to bands like Yes and Jeff Buckley who were all instrumental in our growing years. We think you will fall in love with our music and to see us perform is very exciting as the songs are unparalleled in the flesh. The colour and flavours of this music is very wide and the spirited lyrics are timeless. You will be listening to these songs for years to come.

    Press Reviews
Music review Brazil May`01The third album from Australian band Skutch, some of the most important of the underground scenery, from the country that has brought us bands as AC/DC, Men At Work and Spy vs Spy. Production is well perfected, the cd begins with the music title, simulating a open air concert, where the public's hysteria reminds us of those disks live of Beatles. Thereafter is the truth of the cd. “Cinnamon Garden” it has a climate Zeppeliano, with good presence of vocal, “Bake the last piece for me” is also a beautiful ballad, with a very soulful guitar. It is a ballad without being very sweet, to the style Pearl Jam. In fact, I think the first band that makes to remember, when I hear this cd , are Pearl Jam’s first disks, with pinches of Led, not that they copy those bands, but similar in colour. A moment is “All You Sinners”, with a violin & vocal accompaniment well fitting with shows country influences/American folk. “Flange Puppy” is a big rock song with pinches of Neil Young. Another heavier sound is “Many Wander Through This Land”, which must be to be one of the high points of their show. “Lax-a-Daz-ical” is the music masterpiece of the CD, it is a very beautiful sound, that combines a good guitar work and lyrics, with certainty it could be playing in our rock radios. “Net Quest” it is another heavier sound, with a hilarious lyric speaking of the problem when knowing a girl from the Internet, and later to discover that she was an alien, that leaves the screen of the personal computer and it forces herself upon him. The whole disk one to say, calm, plenty of ballads and music with influences folk, but it is super pleasant, because the ballads don't accomplish that American rule of sticky refrain, just to be heard in an hour of MTV. A lot on the contrary, Skutch is a ripe band, with quite good taste. Try to know something of this CD, they have some of their music in MP3.com, and in their web pages at www.skutch.com.au, because if you like that sound style, then this is something that is worthwhile to have in your CD collection.By Guilherme Vignini 102.5mhz FM Brazil
