    Artist description
The band’s unique musical blend has sparked an active and strong bond with it’s listeners - the antithesis of the more cursory or superficial associations prevalent in some music today. Based on the songwriting of founding member Scott Lanaway, the music covers plenty of creative territory; celebratory to reflective, pounding to pensive, the soundscape of human observation/reflection is the main theme. peninsula has played on national television (as m-1), had a video shown nationally on Muchmusic, and has been at the top of the charts on College radio ocross Canada with the new album. Press Reviews
THIS Magazine (Canada, national) raves: “m-1 are part of a generation of unabashedly commercial pop musicians who are redefining cottage industry music. Finally, a revolution you can dance to”. CHART Magazine says the band is “bound to appeal” and notes the flavoured changes that mark the album and set it aside from other alternative artists.See website http://www.peninsula-online.com
