Artist History Laine Henderson is originally from Vancouver, Canada and now resides in New York City. She performs frequently at well-known clubs such as the famous Bitter End in Greenwich Village, CB's Gallery and other smaller venues with ehr band and as a solo performer. Her talent as a musician, songwriter and performer has New York quickly taking notice of this up and coming artist. She has recieved numerous honours recognizing her music. Musician Magazine selescted her as a semi-finalist in their Best Unsigned Band Contest. After the release of her debut album, Frostbite, Laine was awared and honourable mention for her song "Down South". This year Laine has performed at the Philadelphia Music Conference, the BMI sponsored Acoustic Round-up,the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, Songwriter's Showcase and the renownd New York Songwriter's Circle. Laine's songs have also found their way into the independeent film "Reconciliation" due for release this year and in November she will be perfroming a showcase at the Rockrgrl Music Conference in Seattle, WA. Meanwhile, Laine is working to broaden her audience with college radio and touring while she works on a second full-length album.
