Artist History
Formed in mid-1998, KIZMET arose mainly out of a national "Weekend Warriors" program for musicians, sponsored locally in St. Louis by McMurray Music.Dave Scott (Lead Vocals / Guitar) met up with Female Lead Vocalist Jamie Federko, Drummer Sid Federko, and sometime-bassist Ed Sudduth (Drums).Fast friendships were formed over the course of the 6-week program, culminating in a live performance on May 30th in the store's auditorium. The Federko's had previously established a full group with Jamie Fedorko (Lead Vocals / Bass), Brian "Sid" Fedorko (Drums), Todd Knauer (Guitar),Steve Johnson (Guitar), and Doug Stave (Keyboard).Jamie, Sid, and Todd (core members) wanted to branch into more original music and teamed with Dave and Eddie. It was quickly realized that they "clicked" together. Sid and Jamie moved to Florida which left Dave, Todd, and Eddie to form the band now known as KIZMET. |
