Artist History
In the Earth year 1999 the members of General Eclectic were forced into exile from their home planet of Nevaloo due to their refusal to join the Space Music Alliance. The SMA sought to control the minds of the youth by making all music in space sound exactly the same. Though they were intimidated by the all powerful SMA, GE simply refused to cave in to the demands of the space fascists. So sadly and in fear of their lives the quintet left their beloved home planet to search for a new and less oppressive way of life. What they found was Reading Pennsylvania, a place so inhabited by illegal aliens that their unearthly presence goes completely unnoticed. Someday it may be safe to return to the Nevaloorian Utopia but for now they live and thrive here on Earth as a peaceful collective of underground musicians who remain dedicated to the craft of self expression.
