Artist History Dirge was formed in the summer of 1997 after the demise of the band Aeturnus. Carrying on much of the ideals of Aeturnus, Dirge set out to create something slightly different musically. Dirge's music could best be described as an extremely heavy emotional roller coaster. Dirge's main purpose is to bring truth to poeple through our music.
