Artist History
Self-described as "Neo-New Wave" or "Pop Deco", Audra & the Antidote have been called everything from a cross between early Blondie and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" to "50's pin-up girls singing lounge music from outerspace". Whatever the case may be, it stands that Audra & the Antidote are out to find the perfect blend of good music and an entertaining show. Recently Audra & the Antidote performed "Jenny's Got A Boyfriend" on Farmclub.com TV. The show aired April 17th on the USA Network and garnered the band national attention. Shortly afterwards "Jenny" hit #1 on MP3.com's New Wave chart after holding the #2 spot for 3 weeks. Jenny's Got A Boyfriend" is be the first track of the newly released national college compilation CD by Shut Eye Records entitled "American Deisel Machine." Looks for it in stores or order directly from the band at www.theantidote.net Look for Audra & the Antidote in the prestigious Florida Muisc Showcase July 14th at The Legendary Station Concert Club and Music Hall in Orlando, FL. |
