Artist History
1977: Doug & Alan meet and write 3 songs in 1/2 hour. Form The Alan Milman Sect and record and release one of the first American Punk Rock EP's featuring Stitches in my Head, which was later covered by Urge overkill. Also included was Punk Rock Christmas; a Yuletide delight! 1978: after many personnel changes they become ManKazaM and record a second EP featuring Happy World & Spankathon. They embarked on a Cross Country tour of the US in the summer of '78 and quickly self destruct. Coming together again in the Fall of '78 they regrouped once again and recorded their unreleased masterpiece "ManKazaM goes Surfin'" album, produced by Don (Buck Dharma) Roeser of Blue Oyster Cult. |
