Artist description
Early November 2002Thomas Osaze' was picked up by an established House/Jazz/World label (undisclosed) from NY. Work is in progress for various releases in 2004.The DEMOS featured here are sample portions of Osaze’s music in Electronica, Jazz, House and ‘music for film’ compositions. All tracks have been composed, arranged and performed by Thomas Osaze’ on a Korg Triton (classic) burnt direct to CD. Certain songs now await the engineering/mastering process with selected tracks to later feature vocals and live acoustic/analog instruments. All tracks are original without the use of any pre-sampled material.
Osaze’s compositions draw from a diverse mix of musical styles, from Afro-Brazilian, Jazz, and R&B, marked with distinctive interpretations of Drum n Bass and House. As well, they are suitable for collaboration with any number of vocalists and solo instrumentalists from R&B, Dance to Jazz and World. [Sean Linstead]

Artist History
Spending a few years in the European club scene, based out of Barcelona Spain, Osaze' DJ’d alongside and learnt from some of the planets most established and elite Dj’s. His innate melodic and rhythmic sensibility allow him to compose and experiment with sounds in many musical genres from World to Jazz from Electronica to Soundtrack material. [Sean Linstead mgr]
ABOUT DJing: "I tend to play across the board when I DJ and when it comes to playing house music I enjoy flirting with it’s many sub-genres, bouncing anywhere from Latin & Brazilian rhythms, Disco Breaks, Afro-percussive ensembles such as GUEM to fleeting moments of techno.I'm a self taught musician and don't necessarily refer to myself as a keyboardist but more use the instrument (Korg Triton) as a tool to put my ideas into composition. Outside of the Dance and Electronica that I write the music I compose is quite different from what I DJ and tends to reflect more of my childhood and early adult influences in music." TO
