Artist History Brought into the world on August 23rd Shabazz arrived in the realm of Harlem, the birthplace to so many gifted and talented of which he quickly became a part of the collective, but not singing a song to the same old tune. Through many years of experimenting, testing and researching, Shabazz created a prescription for those addicted to the same old brand of music. His creation is called Universal Soul.Shabazz is a multimedia hybrid involved not only in music, but film and television also. His acting abilities have landed him roles portraying a crusading lover, a music studio producer, a cop, bouncer and more. But the roles he yearns for is that of a black 007.He has interfaced with industry greats Ed Norton and Ben Stiller in the movie Keeping the Faith featured as himself, and with Ben Stiller in the movie Zoolander playing a bouncer named Maurice. He has also worked alongside Samuel Jackson as his stand-in in the movies Shaft, Cavemans Valentine, T.V. show Wonder Land and is featured opposite him in the feature film Changing Lanes. He plays the seargant who books him at the precinct.Shabazz is a being with unlimited talent. At 6 ft 2 with a muscular build, modeling is another area that this versatile artist is breaking ground in. His sex appeal has landed him jobs on both Ricki Lake and the Queen Latifah show. With all that he has accomplished, and still more to come, all should be on the look out for this phenomenal artist.
