Artist History Nick, Jonathan, and Nate formed a band in Grand Rapids, MI in early 1998 and they played together harmoniously until brothers Nick and Jonathan moved away to Fenton, MI in 2001. Nick and Jonathan played in a few bands in Fenton until the decision was made that Nate should rejoin the band despite the 200 mile gap between cities. After 4 days of THE SWELLERS' existence, 3 songs were written and a demo was recorded in their basement. After 9 months, they have played with national acts such as Mustard Plug, The Manges, Even in Blackouts, and The Huntingtons and have recorded the 4-song 'Suburbcore EP' in Nashville, TN. Now they are taking over the world.
