Ballyhoo
Born 31st March in the Highlands of Scotland.
Troops of Tomorrow was the first live band,along with Bassist Dougie Nisbit and Drummer Willy Murray(gurus,cateran)
they played energetic melodic punk...and built up a travelling cult support
in the 3 year spell recording there first ep in park lane studios in glasgow.
After disbanding Dave did various bits of studio recording
until,Telegraph Bush..Andy Garrow Bass..Dave Cowan(Coinneach)
Les macpherson..drums..Davie Gripton ...Drums..and Carol Ross...Vocals
Toured extensively in the T live gigs which led on to T in the Park
More studio recordings followed on the underground scene in the highlands.
In 1989/90 was asked to do the live production of wolfstones first album at colleges and university gigs by Dave & Ebe Foster(The founders and makers of Wolfstone)
Then came Ballyhoo..
The first ep..world of no justice got national air play and reached out into europe
and American college radio circuits.
The Ballyhoo Album "Uproar" again reached audiences
national and international.Toured with echo and the bunnymen.signed to pan-american agency.
After Ballyhoo...Solo.
