Artist History the level three was started in early 2001 by matt couzens as a way of exploring ways of utilizing his recently acquired degree in music from sonoma state university. the act was largely a solo for the first year and pushed matt to explore the fullest sounds possible with one instrument and one voice. after a few four track recordings and small solo shows at northern california coffee houses and bars, matt decided it was time to find someone else to fill out more musical space. a drummer was added and the project has been a duo even since.

Group Members the band consists of matthew christopher on bass, vocals, saxophone, and keyboards, and Kieth Bashnick on percussion and vocals.
