Artist History
formed after founding four members took an Introduction to strings class together in college. the Butternut was formed as a four piece chello group. after the class concluded, the band members decided to take up more conventional instruments and started the rock version of the Butternut. the original cast consisted of Aaron Mew, Anthony Stubelek, Chris Dye, and Mickey Dwyer. over the three year period in which the band permformed, only the drummers were changed. For the album, Anthony took up the helm as drummer on most of the songs, while Vince Jarocki, who would later become the BNQ's last drummer, drummed on three songs. After three years of playing, the BNQ called it quits in July 2002 after performing their last show at Peabody's in Virginia Beach. |
