Artist description
I like to think that the music speaks for itself, however, here is a brief explanation. I have been listening to electronic music for 17 years. It literally becomes you, shapes you, it is an entire new language. I am moved by complimentary sounds, complexity, texture and intent. I strive for coherent music that is capable of transporting the listener. I'm behind the wheel, but you interpret what you see. |

Artist History
Growing up on the Canadian Prairie, I began recording electronic music back in 1990 when technology was relatively inaccessible. As the technology and access to it improved, I began to compose once again. My greatest inspiration is (still) Joachim and Ulrich Wilhelm, the brothers who composed under the names Time Modem, Deep Thought, Intact, and OUN on Boy Records (GMBH). They had an extremely complex and clever way with sound and song structures. When they ceased to make music, I desired to leave a legacy for them. I compose in my spare time and when I feel the need for creative release. |

Press Reviews
[SUONO ELETTRICO] Abertension (3-track cd) -Origin: A Canadian living in the USA –Style/Influences: Modern and intelligent electronic music bordering on the edge of techno and ambient. –Comment: Among the tons of demos I’ve listened to, this is definitely one I’ll remember. It’s an achieved piece of music that may remind to great electro-scientists like Clock DVA, Haujobb and Trauma. The sound is still on the edge of techno while some sequences remind to Klinik. I hope to hear more songs from this talented project! –Contact: patricksmall@bellsouth.net / www.patricksmall.com –Rate: (DP:8/9)DP.
[SUONO ELETTRICO] Eclipsing Binary (8-track cd) -Origin: USA - Style/Influences: Instrumental space electro is maybe a good definition. - Comment: It is, if I'm not wrong, the second review for this band in our demo section. I'm still surprised that this one man project has not been signed yet. We are far from big cliché here, the guy tries to create his own architecural spacy sound not too far sometimes from bands like... Architect, and some big moments of Autechre with a very personal touch. worth a listen! - Contact: patricksmall@bellsouth.net - RATE: (CX:8)CX
SUONO ELETTRICO Demo (CD)(Own Release) Electronic artists are not difficult to find as due to modern technologies every street must have his own electronic DIY-artist but if they do something good is of course an other thing! I mean it’s a cliché (and a true one) that anyone can make an electronic track but there is still a difference between a good and a bad track. Suono Elettrico might sound a bit Italian but you have to go to Canada to meet this man and he sended me a full album (it isn’t a demo but due to the bad colourphotocopy I couldn’t read the title) and it’s a sort of chill-out EBM. A Side-Line reviewer compared his stuff to Haujobb and that’s the artist I would use myself…or a sort of LFO enriched with some EBM and indus-elements. To say it in short, Suono Elettrico is one of the many but one of the many good ones! - Dreams Never End (Belgium)
