Artist description A completely new melodic metal Shaded Enmity, we dropped our brutal death metal roots. Subsequently this new musical direction meant splitting ways with 2 original members. The band now consists of Rob Steinway(Guitars), Eric Haugland(bass), Joe Nurre(guitars and vocals) and Jer Keller(drums). Jer Keller is currently a fill-in drummer/producer who will maintain presence under his own accords. This summer is full of song writing and recording, so we hope you old fans enjoy us and maybe we will get some new listeners.

Artist History Originating back in the late 90's as Eternal Darkness, Shaded Enmity has been through a lot of dramatic changes. The original line up and sound have come a long way from their foundation, when a few guys from Mill Creek were just sitting around covering songs by their favorite metal bands; to playing their own music. From 2001 - 2002 the line up was Andy Mannino on drums, Chris Mannino on lead/rhythm guitars, Eric Haugland on bass, Rob Steinway on rhythm guitars. With Joe Nurre joining up upon the recording of the first Shaded Enmity demo Tyranny Within in August of 2002. The band showcased a mass of metal styles mostly death metal and power metal. At the beginning of the new year some complications sprang up and Andy left the band to join Forgive Durden (Formerly Jack Squat). Upon Andy's departure practices began to diminish and much enthusiasm was lost, under careful consideration between Joe, Rob and Eric it was decided to discontinue involvement with Chris due to a pure difference in musical tastes. Eventually an agreement was reached Chris kept the original songs and is currently organizing a new band. While the Shaded Enmity name went Joe, Rob and Eric. Shaded Enmity was then reborn from the ashes into the music of Melodic Death Metal that you will hear today.
