Artist description
Parkway South 's music is the result of the many eclectic tastes of its individual members. Drawing on traditions as varied as 1960's R&B, classic rock, punk, Brit pop, and urban folk, the band has created a musical hybrid that is both timeless and original. Their songs range from hard-rocking punk to heart-rending ballads, touching every style and theme in between. The band's overall sound could best be described as power-pop that relies on catchy melodies that serve as a backdrop for introspective lyrics dealing with topics such as falling in/out of love, politics, and the trials of growing up |
