Artist History
Gary West moved to Nashville, TN in 1988. He has been working as a drummer on the World Famous Grand Ole Opry elevan years now.
He has work with many, many country legands over the years. He has worked with Grand Ole Opry star Del Reeves on the Opry about
three years. He was a member of Hank Williams original "Drifting Cowboys Band" with Don Helms and Jerry Rivers, untill Jerry Rivers
passing in 1996. He is currently the drummer for Grand Ole Opry Star and Hall of Fame member Little Jimmy Dickens on the Grand Ole Opry.
So, Watch CMT for the Grand Ole Opry "Live" and look for Gary playing the drums when Little Jimmy Dickens is performing. Gary has not
put his singing on the back burner. He performs about 12 times a month at the Opryland Hotel, where he has been entertaining with comedy,
impersonations and great music!
Gary also has a home studio where he loves to record and produce his own projects |

The Gary West Trio has been performing at the Jack Daniels Saloon at the Opryland Hotel since 1996.
The Trio consists of Hoot Gibson on Bass and JD Myers on Guitar.
Hoot is bass player and band leader for Ken Mellons the ole "Juke Box Junkie".
and a great song writer and musician and a wonderful long time friend.
JD Myers is a unbelievable player and singer and song writer....
JD has had a major recoring and publishing deal and is seeking a new deal.
It's great to play with such great players and be able to enjoy it as much
as we do..... |
