Artist History
Making music started back in 1997 with rave e-jay software by fast-trak. It was a very simple program for making happy hardcore, drum n bass and techno. I created so many songs on that software until the samples became boring and I started using the same samples a lot. Luckily fast-trak released dance e-jay 2 in late 1998; this was a very good program. It had 16 tracks and double the samples that rave e-jay had. So I started creating some tunes on that. They were mainly house and trance tunes, which were very simple. I used this program for a couple of years making house and trance and then I started to progress into more electronica and industrial sounds, and began work on a few experimental tunes. In 2000 I bought a copy of hiphop e-jay 2, I made a couple of hip-hop tracks but was mainly looking at trip-hop, and chalet sounds. During 2000 I was creating a lot of tunes and had so many ideas with both programs, so I decided I would put and album together, with a mixture of electronic and chillout tunes. In summer of 2000 I finished this album and called it "Futa Elektro Disko" after one of the songs on the album. I didn't have enough time to promote it due to college work. So only a few people have a copy of it, and it's really just a personal thing. After I finished the album I took a break from making music, just making a few odd tracks here and there. Into 2001 and still haven't made anything new, and I was still using dance e-jay 2 and hip-hop e-jay 2. But in the summer of 2001 I was contacted through mp3.com by Sivablood he was looking for local musicians to work with, so we met and talked about music but decided at that point in time it was not possible for us to work together. But we had an idea that I could do a remix for him so I remixed "Idiot Scream". Also through contact with sivablood I met Jon from Soulspace and once again I remixed one their songs "The Misery" and I am now part of fruit-Machine website. But still after working on those remixes I still didn't create any more tracks but did decide I was going to move away from the e-jay scene, so I had a look at various music software including Cubase, Acid and a few more. Well now I'm starting to get back into making music and I am using fruity Loops plus a few other bits of software. I have made a few new songs. I am working on lots of new ideas and sounds, and I am going to work on a new album, which I hope to promote a lot more.... |
