Artist History
Attracted To Miss originally formed under the name, UnRated in the Spring of 2000. Each member, Shane Henderson (Guitar/Vocals), Brian Pitonak (Bass) and Sean Quilty (Drums/Vocals) were from other bands based in Buck County, Pennsylvania. With influences ranging from Hot Water Music to Homegrown, the band recorded and released the 4 song EP, "Unspoken Words" in the summer of 2000. The EP caught the attention of a local New Jersey-based indie label, PumpkinEater Records, which signed UnRated in the fall of 2001. In May of the following year the band went into Skylight Studio in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania to record their debut LP, "In My Younger and More Vulnerable Years". On September 21, the band released their album under the new band name, Attracted To Miss. With energy, emotion, and love for what they do, ATM has built a solid base for for what hopefully will be a bright future. |
