Artist History 6th April 2002 – Texter is formed after a drunken night of great ideas and accusations. The first song "Britney" was born. 7th April 2002 - The first rehearsal. Tension and animosity flowed as the trio shaped the band’s sound. They decided to embrace this tension and use it responsibly. 14th April 2002 – Rehearsal number two. Excitement for the song & the sound intensifies, as does the chemistry that flows naturally between the three members. 21st April 2002 – Rehearsal number three. A ‘rock chick’ is called upon for extra vocal parts. She instantly becomes a permanent addition to the fold after a wonderful display of rock attitude and powerful vocal ability. 28th April 2002 – Recording Day. Magic Marker Ink. Productions were invited to document the occasion by shooting footage for what would become the debut video for Texter. Six hours and $180 dollars later, they had recorded their first single, and basis for the accompanying video. 2nd May 2002 – Editing Day. Editing for the "Britney" video begins and the band warm to the ‘crap-shoot’ of shots captured. After numerous re-edits & ‘issues’, Texter ‘sign-off’ on their video. Editing staff and hangers on are impressed by the Texter sound, image and concept.
