Artist History
Started in the winter of spring of 1999, Three Minutes From Home has since developed a style some call the future of alternative rock. Ranging from beautiful melodies to thick, driving guitars, Three Minutes From Home is definitely on the move. The band started as a ska band under the name Deceptikonz, but soon changed their name and their line-up, slowly heading towards emotional ska music (a fusion of melodic indie rock and ska/punk). Under the new name, Royal Rangers, the band became locally famous by winning a free recording deal from a
1st place take in a battle of the bands. Gradually, lead singer/songwriter Luke, began to return to his indie rock roots, which in turn brought about a new line-up of players and recently, the new name, Three Minutes From Home. Now inspired to play music with purpose, the guys concentrate on putting on energy soaked shows and crowd involved sing alongs. They have played with bands like Forefront recording artist Bleach and local favorite Rend the Heavens along with Canadian and American favorites: Elderstarr, Stutterfly, and Clever, constantly
playing all over the Northwest, also taking 1st place in a state wide battle of the bands in Butte, MT and locally in Kalispell. |

Press Reviews
Review: Three Minutes from Home has released this interestingly blended Alternative track, entitled "Forever After". With a noticeable punk influence, "Forever After" starts witha bang, but builds into its climax with a dramatic sounding chorus. And the chorus of this song is what really hooks you - powerful vocals over top of thick stacks of guitars and punchy percussion. "Forever After" features great sounding mix too. The drums sit just right with the guitars and vocals, neither overpower the vocals and the interaction between the drums and bass allow the track to "kick" fairly well. All in all, fabulous in pretty much every respect; tight mix, tight sounding vocals from a tight sounding band make "Forever After" a worthwhile listen. Watch out for Three Minutes from Home, if they're not already on the radio, they should be. In the meantime, if you find yourself listening to too much Nickleback lately, "Forever After" by Three Minutes from Home is a refreshing yet moody Alternative and punk influenced track that you should check out. - MP3Magazine.net |
