Artist description
STYLUS RIPS SHIT UP.
Stylus is the latest quality New Zealand act. This high-energy Auckland four piece is an intense groove machine that delivers a blistering live show. Their songs are a catchy combination of attitude and hooks with hard, melodic riffs that power their way over supercharged funk and hip-hop grooves. Original and refreshing, Stylus blends together the hottest styles in music today.
PRESENT AND FUTURE.
Stylus was awarded a NZ on Air single grant early this year. The song "Everywhere" was recorded and mixed at York St Studios and was released to radio in June. "Everywhere" is currently receiving airplay throughout New Zealand. Stylus will release a follow up single by early October, and a debut album in February 2003.

Artist History
Stylus has been playing music together since high school days. In 1999 they recorded the radio single "So What" at Revolver Studios after winning a prestigious local band competition. "So What" was released and play-listed on rock and student radio throughout N.Z.
2000 saw the band on hiatus with Paul joining fellow Auckland rock band Tadpole to record and tour what became a triple-platinum selling album. Stylus began working on material again in 2001, prompting Paul to eventually return full time.
