Artist History
With their ever evolving blend of funk and jazz based music, Secret Gossip is determined to bring hope to a world of music lovers in an industry begging for something new and diverse. The group was started in 2002, and has been captivating crowds ever since. With their thick infectious grooves and clever lyrical views on life, Secret Gossip will take you on a journey and leave you hungry for more.
It all started with the jazz guitar of Chris McElroy and funk driven bass of Jeff Collett. The two founding members have been playing together for six consecutive years in various projects developing a sound all their own. When they met drummer Sean Wilson, he quickly fell right into the pocket. After a few months of collaboration, the trio ran into singer and keyboardist Eric Dennis who soon joined the band adding flare with his soulful voice. Now a quartet with a debut CD under their belt, the group still felt the need to expand even further. It was then that saxophonist Chris Genovese stepped into the picture and took the passion of Secret Gossip to a higher level. Now the five piece looks forward to the future and is already in the works on their sophomore album. So keep your eyes and ears open and you’ll find out, Secret Gossip is no fleeting rumor, but a rising talent in the music industry!
