Artist description
Unlike alot of Northwest/Portland Bands Gruesome Galore's style falls somewhere between art-rock and gospel. The music creates this tension by Blending
composition with deconstruction in a kind of
manic-obsessive glory. It goes from an almost
terrifying darkness to a warm auburn glow before
you quite know what hit you.

Artist History
Adam Mackintosh, singer/songwriter grew up south
of San Francisco in the bay area of Northern
California. But, in the mid-nineties when the
almighty dollar consumed the golden city, he was,
as an artist removed to the darkest and most
equally ornate city in America, New Orleans. He
spent almost four years there completing "Gracious
Living" then returned to the west coast in 2000
to record and release this beautiful and tragic
American tale of salvation. |
