Artist History
Confusion Ends started out with Mike Asher and myself(Noah) in the summer of 2002, unfortunately, Mike moved away to Las Vegas and I decided to keep going with the project. Throughout the following months, I did some solo work with CE and did a collaboration with One Less Joker. Soon afterwards, I received an e-mail from Charley Hunt who gave a kind review on the song "Parting Ways(with the dream)". We began talking and eventually, started creating music together, sharing ideas back and forth. So basically, Confusion Ends consist of myself, Noah Nichols who lives in Ohio and Charley Hunt, who lives an ocean away in England. |

Press Reviews
"Listening to Noah's songs makes me feel like I'm in a convertable driving through New Mexico....so relaxing, so moving. Great progressions, smooth." -Jennifer LeBlanc
"Powerfully deep introspective melodies and chord structures played with
almost hypnotic emotion. It's not often that guitar alone can convey
perspective and intense feeling. Rest your head, close your eyes and be
taken somewhere..." -Colleen Gray
"Confusion Ends is an independent emo/chill project comprising the diverse talents of one Noah Nichols. If you haven't heard his material yet, you are missing out on some of the best, most beautiful music this side of the galaxy. He's done an excellent job and puts 110% of his heart into his music, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do." -Justin Kram
"Dark, deep intro. Really striking. Very clean guitar production. It's an interesting mix. There is a lot of space between the instruments, meaning it sounds like they were isolated very, very professionally. Musically, it's pretty basic but I think the point of this track isn't so much for mind blowing music as it is meant to be a journey into the space of your mind. It's better to study this track with your ears and really listen to the production because it is very unique IMO. Once the beats come in, the mix seems to transform into a more standard production format but there is still the backing music that is haunting and quite beautiful really. It's not a difficult track by any means but it is very interesting to try and gauge the production value. I love the outro as well. It really leaves an impression on the listener. I like it. Would make a great bed time tune." -Flat Atom
"This is great. The set up of the vocals overtaking one another is an original idea. Add to that great playing, great engineering & great effects. Damn." -Riddler J
"Parting Ways is one of the best songs I've heard by an independent artist, ever." -Corry
"Noah, this is gorgeous. You have a lovely voice, so lovely. It amazes me that there are always tears in my eyes at the end of your songs." -Jessie Fogarty
"Dying By Her Ghost is the best thing you've ever done." -Graham Dakin
"The music of Noah Nichols...is nothing short of amazing. Everytime I listen, all my thoughts are swept away by the waves of emotion that pour through every note. And everytime I hear a new song, I am more than impressed at how he grows so much, and experiments, and isn't afraid to play what he wants to play. Noah has touched more musical variety and made more beautiful pictures in the minds than most artists do in their entire careers." -Dave Greer
"It is your everything...you put all your emotions from your interactions in life...into your music...and that is what makes it so great...it is from the heart." -Mike McCormick
"Melodic guitar riffs powerful and powerful lyrics by this very talented man from Columbus, Ohio. The song "Dying By Her Ghost" is one of his finer works yet. Noah Nichols sings the song with a whole-hearted chorus that would leave most emo bands scratching their heads and wondering what his talent really is. And the music is a mixture of beautifully made-up accoustic bits. The excerpts of people talking adds to the whole effect of the song. Never boring, never provoking--which are descriptions both genres always had/have a hard time avoiding, if you ask me. One of Confusion Ends' best pieces of work, and is definately a song that should not be passed by." -Alyse Lujano "Through The Era is definately the best you've ever done, the guitar effects are great. The end is just...I don't know what. Relaxing doesn't do it justice. It's an experience." -Stephen Carradini
"Fuck, Noah. I hate you. This shit is so trippy, I love it so much. Through The Era is very very unique. It's so interesting." -Kaley Nelson
"Your music makes me smile and takes away a dreary day. You are an amazing person. You blow away a lot of the emo out there. Beauty at it's finest." -Brian
"Thank you." -Noah to all of you.
