Artist History
Not many people can say they have performed with or opened shows for the likes of : Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin and Big Brother and the Holding Company, Steve Miller, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Muddy Waters, Leon Redbone, The Spinners, Ike and Tina Turner, Sly and the Family Stone, Blue Cheer, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, the incomparable Stevie Ray Vaughn, the list goes on and on. 5 decades of performance history, Mojo began at five-years old. He sang his way through high school and the U.S. Air Force. His opening and headline appearances at the famed Fillmore West in San Francisco led to an album with Filmore Records, his first of several albums. Mojo has works filed in the University of Mississippi Blues Archives, North Carolina Department of Archives and History, UNC Music Archives and the History Center in Manteo. Mojo has also performed with the Sacramento Symphony, the New Orleans Jazz and Blues Heritage Festivals. Many Public Schools in North Carolina. He still performs extensively throughout North Carolina. |
