Artist description MetaVerse is Mark Wagner. Drums and some synths are programed by Mark using a variety of inexpensive hardware and software. All other sounds are made by Mark, his Guitars, and his digitech rp6 effects board. (The notable exception to this being all female vocals, which are recorded by his wife, Eva.) He records in ProTools LE on a 400MHz powermac G4. His first priority is often the lyrics, but with an emphasis on the melody. In fact, he starts with a guitar part and then a melody. The rest, while it is technically the 'metaverse,' is only meant to be an appropriate dressing for the substance of the song.

Artist History Mark began his musical life as a U2 fan. While attending school at Cal Poly, San Luis Opispo, he and his friends acheived their dream of being in a band by forming the power-pop group, POST. Mark was the vocalist, but he soon learned guitar from the other Postmen. He currently writes on his accoustic guitar whenever he is not spending time with his wife, or working as an AP Literature Instructor and Technology Coordinator at Estancia High School. He is pursuing a doctorate in Technology and Learning as well as further work with the members of POST. Mark still hopes to publish music by his 'band' MetaVerse, and by the collaboration of POST, which is now a much different monster than they were in the days of their Power Pop origin.
