Artist History Urijaws story started about ten years ago in a little village called Soini. There we had a band called The If. We made a couple of demos and one full lenght album called "Stay". Then we broke up and a couple of years later I moved to Helsinki. I started doing demos in my home studio. It took some time to find out the way of good producing. Finally I had a cd containing eleven songs named Commonpast - Blood In Art. It got good responses around the world, but I noticed it could be done better. The songs were good but there were still some things I was unsatisfied with. So at the end of 2001 I asked my friend Lasse to sing some songs (he was also the lead vocalist in The If). I chose five songs, two from the Blood In Art, and three new ones. Then I did guitars, basses, programming, drums etc. We had two vocal sessions. In the first session there were some problems with computers, but another was okay! Then I did mixing and cover artist Juha gave some help with mastering. And now the whole thing is ready, itīs called Urijaws - Behind The Scenes, and itīs great!
