Artist description
“Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.”
--Charles Mingus
With the debut release of “LET’S DO COKE IN THE BATHROOM” Arizona based rock outfit, THE HOT GUY BAND does just that. With a stripped down sound and catchy prose, these are the songs that will invade minds and torment them for years to come.
With a common love for rock music, frantic stage shows, and revenge: Joe and Brandon, two veterans of the phoenix local music scene, started THE HOT GUY BAND. They recorded the album and then recruited Jake, bass prodigy. Together they worked out the kinks in the songs and focused on their live show. Drummer Brandon Abbott describes their infamous performances as “controlled chaos” and also says that “…when people pay for a show they deserve to be entertained”. THE HOT GUY BAND is more than willing to do that. Their concerts only further illustrate this point as audiences have bared witness to dancing syringes, the destruction of paper machete priests and even a Gallagher impersonator.
The world can be a complicated place; every now and then we just all need a simple song to sing along with. THE HOT GUY BAND is more than happy to provide a soundtrack for a carefree life. |
