Artist History Stivis Priste was formed three years ago with members David (vocals), Peter(keyboards), and Jason(rhythm piano) (for legal reasons their full names must not be revealed). In 1999, David and Jason had a disagreement about whether the fustian blanket represented hope or courage, and subsequently Jason left the band. Left without a solid rythmn piano, David and Peter soon felt very alone, and so they took in two new members, Juanita on bass and Xaun Milnes on lead rhythm piano. Everyone hit it off well and all of them thought that they had something going, when suddenly Peter came down with the flu. This enraged Juanita, who went crazy and threw herself off of a building into a trash compactor. David and Xaun were now left without bass and without keyboards. They tried doing songs themselves, but it just never worked out, so David left the band and went on to form another (which again for legal reasons, I may not mention, but they are very popular today). Peter eventually got over the flu and tried to get back with Xaun, but they could never really hit it off. The songs suffered greatly, and with great difficulty, Peter realized he had to leave in order for the project to continue. Now left by himself again, Xaun needed to build from the bottom up, so he laid the foundation down for the band by first inviting bassist Vivo to join. Xaun and Vivo we wonderfully matched, and again the music grew. After numerous auditions, Xaun and Vivo settled on inviting singers Mitch and Leeya, guitarist Neil, keyboardist Jacob Medendorp, and drummer Nicholas. Now they were ready to enter into the new millenium. Xaun, Vivo, Mitch, Leeya, Jacob, and Nicholas created beautiful music together. Everything went wonderfully...until romance between members began to drive them apart. Jacob and Leeya started seeing each other exclusively, and this angered Mitch very much, so in a fit of rage, he left. Mitch leaving had a rough effect on Nicholas because Nicholas was gay and in love with Mitch, and after finding out Mitch wasn't gay and wasn't in love with him, Nicholas left the band, too, and hanged himself. Neil, who, at the time of joining Stivis Priste, was 97 years old, had a heart attack over all the commotion, and thus Leeya, Xaun, Jacob, and Vivo were left to try and figure where to go from there on. Jacob and Leeya were very happy, buy Leeya was considering leaving the band to pursue her dream of being the first woman on Mars. Jacob then became enraged and quit the band, and Leeya did also. Then, on her way out of the studio, she accidentally ran over Vivo with her '98 Ford Taurus while he was out getting the band coffee. Leeya was never heard from again. Having then freed himself of Leeya, Jacob rejoined Stivis Priste, and was now able to focus soley on the music. However, there was still the issue of a lead singer. Xaun and Jacob knew they needed one because playing keyboards and rhythm piano is very intense, and they both doubted they could do both. So in one final, magnificent act, they asked a mutual friend, Alex Riggen, who played guitar and could sing, to join them, and that is the Stivis Priste you know today.
