Artist History
Stereo 7 has a wild history.Well, not really. Stereo 7 was created originally by Patrick and Jagow. They played together in their church band (very gay) and decided to make a band that played punk music so they could be cool. Patrick met Miles at a recording class at Missouri Western and, after hearing a song Miles wrote and recorded (green eggs and ham), asked him to join the band. Around that time Quinten Sharp, the original drummer, was also added. The group played a couple of shows together including one at the Letter Carriers Hall, and Bluff Woods Rockfest (RENEGADE 3:16!!!!). After a while, they had trouble getting Quiiiiiiiiinten to show up for band practice, because his whore of a girlfriend ran his life. So they had 2 shows booked one night that Quinten didn't have time for, so they posted on joetownrock.com looking for a drummer to fill-in. Andy stepped up to the challenge and filled in at both Hazel's and Dante's that night. After hearing Andy's ability to play, Miles asked Andy if he would like to join the band full time and since then, he has been in Stereo 7. After all of this, Patrick asked Wade (who was just an obsessed fan to this point) to play sax on a few songs he had written. The rest of the band figured that he might as well play on other songs too so he doesn't look like an ass getting up on stage for one song. Thus began the best line-up of Stereo 7 (so far).
