Artist description Welcome to the music of Slax. Slax is a small team of musicians. We started in 2000 to write songs and record them. It started as a "only-for-fun" project, to experience the possibilities of synthesizers and computers in music making. We went along with Hardware and Software, and took the best out of both worlds. So you will find acoustic instruments here as well as elctronic ones, synthesizers and many more. Our music is designed to make you feel comfortable. We do want to convey joy, love, tenderness, faith, warmth, emotion and positive feelings with our work. All our songs are devoted to our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the master of our lives and also the reason for music. We try to express our love towards him by our music. All the glory belongs to him.

Music Style Christian Easy Listening/Rock Music.

Musical Influences Our style is influenced by many famous older groups like Genesis, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk and all its descendants, Enigma, J. M. Jarre, Mike Oldfield and many others.

Group Members Herta is playing Flute and Guitar and also assists in production of the songs. Her good musical taste and ideas help develop new songs and improve the raw ideas. She always finds the flaws and directly points out where to improve the songs. She is the melodic, easy-listening part of the team. Tobias is playing keyboard, bass and does the programming. He has the initial ideas for many of the songs and does all the fine detail work on the computer. He ist the more electronic part of the team. The beats, the drums, noises, pads and sythies are played by him.

Instruments Keys, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Flute and some other occasionally.
