Artist description
Hoodooh is a rock band dedicated to playing incredible live shows where the band can improvise musically, much as a jazz ensemble might, but in a rock and roll context. They concentrate on writing catchy songs with great vocal harmonies and unforgettable melodic hooks.
Hoodooh's music can best be described as improvised rock, much in the tradition of the Allman Brothers or the Grateful Dead, but with the tightness and danceability of a funk band. They tend not to improvise for as long as most "Jam Bands", preferring to jam only as long as it remains interesting and still adds to the music.
