Artist History Geisha House formed in mid 2001 and was started by John Holtorff (guitar), Aaron Mixan (bass) and Jason Sempek (drums). After developing a half dozen instrumental songs, Kerry Eddy joined the band as lyricist/vocalist. With the addition of Eddy, the band further developed its sound and direction, and began to perform in and around Omaha in early 2002, and completed a demo CD. Through mid 2002, the band played some dozen shows. In late 2002, the band took a break from playing live to concentrate on a more polished version of the demo material. With the project largely completed, Geisha House took a sabbatical from early to mid 2003. During this time, production on their first full-length recording continued. In October 2003, the band reformed with Dan Burger replacing Jason Sempek on drums. Geisha House plans on resuming live performance to support the new full-length CD.
