EL CONVERSO has revolutionized traditional jewish
music by interpreting classic jewish songs in the
"cumbia" style. Cumbia originated in coastal
Colombia with african slaves and has since gained
popularity throughout the central and south americas.
Its tropical rhythm is unmistakable
and very, very dancable !
EL CONVERSO also experiments with traditional
arabic rhythms. (Passage to Aswan, Shukran)
