Artist History
chlostragora, in its most primitive state, had its origin in mid-to-late 1998. It started as an idea for a *gasp* rock band. At the second stage of the evolution, it started to become a realized idea, in the shape and form of "Monsterberry Crunch."
Despite this grand idea, it became apparent that a rock band was a dumb idea. After all, techno was so much better, besides the fact that they had no time or money to put a rock band together. Well, members started dropping like moths caught in one of those air-powered bug zappers, you know with the purple goo in the bottom tray. Everyone lost interest.. except one. It still lived on in the heart of one..
Well, Monsterberry Crunch was flushed down the toilet like a lizard, and a new hope arose: CHLOSTRAGORA. Progressing on from the measly blips and speaker damaging timbres of raw MIDI, and building upon a newfound love of the proverbial and so-called "IDM" genre, chlostragora had found its niche. Armed with a computer, an obsession with concept albums, and an unhealthy level of unusual nostalgia, chlostragora brings feelgood listening to a new level. Saving the world through bizarre arrangements of .wav files and odd sampling, chlostragora proves that they can conquer the world through mediocre music. That's why they are as-of-now relatively unheard of and have absolutely nothing released on hard copies except scratchy homemade cassette tapes and CD-r. Hmm..The next chapter is yet to be written...!
Nota Bene: In case you never realized it, this biography, while nevertheless true, is a bit of a parody... Not to be taken 100% seriously. Ha ha. Thought we'd see if anyone was paying attention. Thanks for reading. (Now that IS serious. :-) |
