Press Reviews
Review of Nothing To Hold You Here: Aussie Doom Metallers are back to strike again!!!! I received their 2001 rehearsal tape only a few months ago and now their brand new CD single entitled Nothing To Hold You Here is out. In my point of view, This Tangled Web's musical style is very mature. With good production and also tight musicianship, this band delivers a doom metal style mixed with death and black metal passages. This single contains 2 tracks with almost 15 minutes playing time. The vocals are high pitched (reminding me of Jeff Walker from Carcass), combined with clean vocals. Both tracks also feature very tasteful acoustic guitar/synth passages. Check this out without a doubt.
