Press Reviews SomeCheapChrist is an exciting band formed in December 2001 from Eugene Oregon. Their music has been described as Punk, Emo, Hardcore, and Indie Rock, although they are not easily pigeonholed. They play an energetic set with lots of dynamics, and different rhythms, along the lines of Fugazi, Frodus, Drive Like Jehu, The Treepeople, Karp, Rye Coalition, Ink and Dagger, and Refused. Their demo was recorded totally DIY, (in a friend’s living room, each song done in one take) in order to capture their live sound. This is only temporary because they plan to enter the studio and record a full-length album soon. Besides being great musicians, SomeCheapChrist are also a nice bunch of guys, who are hard working and easy going. Don’t miss the chance to see this amazing band.
