Artist description Former Little America guitarist Andy Logan has come out with a solo CD, Last Dance on the Wild Frontier, that showcases his talents as songwriter, singer and guitar player. "I wanted to do something that sounded sort of like the Beatles if they grew up in America and did a 'Springsteen-Nebraska type' record. Yeah, it's pretty dark in places." One of the album's tunes, "Money 1, Soul 0" (which earned him runner up in the folk division of the 2001 John Lennon Songwriting contest), hits home now more than ever. "Once a corporation changes the name of a historical landmark like Candlestick Park to 3Com Park, it no longer belongs to the people. Here in Tennessee, when the Titans make a first down, it's an AmSouth first down. I'm waiting for the Tostito's Statue of Liberty or the Pentium Yellowstone Park. I wish I were kidding," says Logan.
