Artist description Twitch is a four-piece band from Portland, TX. When quoted on their sound, they've dubbed their own style of music and classified it as "Alternative Metal." They've been around for 3 years and played many a show in South Texas - but want to start playing shows out of the South Texas ring... They've recorded three demos at two different studios and currently working on a new one... Even though they like to record, their first love is performing live - feeling the energy and giving a good show that the crowd can enjoy. Their greatest accomplishments include opening for The Union Underground and Flybanger and have receieved the Corpus Christi Caller Time's Reader Choice Award for the BEST LOCAL BAND two years in a row. Twitch has performed with all kinds of music other than their own dubbing of "Alternative Metal" - they've played with Portland's "Devised" who have a more heavy sound, they've played with the Sacromento, CA band "Frank Jordan" of Cornerstone RAS who've dubbed themselves "Astro Rock Jazz Fusion". Even a show with another local band from Corpus Christi who've got the Rock Funk Jazz Spacy sound of "Margin of Self" -- As well as the "Heroin Couch Music" band "Lakluster" (self dubbed music style.) and even Gregory's up and coming hip-hop freestyle group "7 Sins."
