Not that this song is R&B by any stretch of the imagination. "Mullet" is pure funk rock, with ripping guitars and lots of style. All of the musical elements here work together really well with punchy bass, percussion that pops and both lead and backing vocals that really push "Mullet" over the top into a really wild track, sure to inspire repeat listens. Great diction with the vocals, and the vocals along with the rest of the instruments (guitars, bass, percussion) are rhythmically practically dead on. An overall great sound has been pulled off with "Mullet". The guitars are thick, the percussion kicks, and the bass ties it all together.
