Artist description
Berlin-based DJ- and producer-team combining „funky breakbeats“ with smash-house and a smattering of sixties references, Stereo de Luxe can make for a perfect pop-machinery, only to accelerate and push the bassline far beyond any speed-limit, boiling all types of obscure dance-tracks, absurd samples, fat beats and strange breaks down to a kind of hot musical gumbo – always „stylish“, yet never falling prey to the definitional limits of any one genre. |

Artist History
Back in 1994, Stereo de Luxe startet off with an eclectic mix of loungy sounds and 60's beats. Soon they discovered their love for hard and funky electronic breaks and startet producing tracks themselves. Stereo de Luxe released their first album "Glam-O-Rama“ in the year 2000 - the perfect record for all those jet-setters who love fuming "Senior Service” cigarettes while cruising along in their convertibles and who will be sure to make "La Palome" the soundtrack of choice for their illicit erotic spins. |
