Artist History
This album has been in concept form for about 6 years. It started with one song simply called, Jessie. It wasn’t long that a series of poems, writings and other songs began to appear. They tell the story of a girl and boy growing up in a small rural town fighting against the conventions of Little America. The songs are slowly getting recorded and will appear gradually throughout 2002, consisting of 24 songs. The songs themselves tell the story through the perspective of the main male character while the book (slowly getting written) tells the perspective from the main female character. I continue to use the Noah Ascher web sites within MP3.com as a means to put out my recorded catalogue. It is an easy (although time consuming) process that allows me to put projects out with low overhead costs. I value the internet as a resource for artists who prefer to work on their own terms, create their own deadlines and still have the respect and awe for what they are doing. |
