Artist History
Hook Line and Sinker is a Christian ska band based out of the NW Chicago suburbs. The group has been playing together as a whole for a over a year. HLS consists of seven people who love to rock out for God-and get people jumping with them!
Hook Line and Sinker has played in Illinois and Wisconsin at youth group events of all different Christian denominations, coffeehouses, and Christian and secular concert venues. Not only have they played with amazing local bands such as Escape from Earth, Fill in the Blank, and Every Person's Dream, they often play with Bettie Rocket Record's Convicted Resistance 33, and opened for nationally known East West at the Afternight Soundstage in the summer of 2001.
The band has been blessed with the assistance of New Breed Management's Rick Virgl. With his help, HLS has had the ability to keep their thoughts centralized on getting across the good news of Jesus Christ. They continue with the hope and prayer that their music reaches out to all types of people, whether Christian or not, but want to make it clear what their message is.
"We would be nothing without the blessings of God. HLS is our fun, our family, our passion, and our ministry."
