Artist description "A styleless man is worth nothing". This Borges sentence summarizes the spirit and the nature of Furlan music. He writes music for videos and documentaries, songs, soundtracks for theatre and movies. His own style is ironical and irreverent, mixing contemporary classical music, word music and pop. Furlan is author of music for videos and documentaries, songs, soundtracks for theatre (Marco Paolini's Il Milione, L'orto, Bestiario Veneto e Bestiario Italiano) and movies (Mazzacurati's La lingua del Santo). In 98 he releases, as Maistral, a CD with the same name with songs from the repertoire of Paolini's shows, and in 99 with his Furlan Shop Orchestra the CD "Storie venete". For two consecutive years he has been in charge of the multimedia installations of Arles "Catedral d'images" in France.
