Artist description
RyanJoy! is the hottest up & coming singer on the pop/R&B scene! Executives throughout the entertainment industry have slated her as the next young Madonna. Her music is guaranteed to take you to the next level of pop music as the bass drops and the beats make you dance. Her debut single, "Don't U Hate It", pumps lyrics to the ladies about men who promise the world but fall short. Every lady will have this song on her lips and proclaim it as their national anthem. Produced by David Burrell (CB Studios) and written by Sly (NYC), this song is destined to top the charts! "I want people to feel my music when I'm at a concert. I love looking out and seeing people singing the lyrics like it's their own song. My music is strictly for the fans! Without them, I wouldn't be here."
Her next single, "SOS", tells of a woman whose heart has been found by a man right when it was breaking. He saved her from any further pain and made everything right again. The beats in this song are just as dynamic as the first single with a little more pop appeal. Both songs are bound to not only hit the Top 40 charts, but also cross into the contemporary urban scene as well. RyanJoy! has a very diverse ideal and doesn't believe in targeting just one audience.
RyanJoy! started performing at the age of 12 on Club TV, a local MTV-style show, as a dancer and host. This provided her with the opportunity to join a hip-hop dance group called Triple Take which traveled throughout Florida performing at various schools, venues, and competitions. She has also worked with Willa Ford and Latin pop artist, Jemilla. Her performances include: 93.3 WFLZ "The Big One Concert", Bayfest 2002 in St. Petersburg, FL, Guavaween in Tampa, FL on the Radio Disney Sound Stage, a Tampa Aids Network charity concert, the Radio Disney Sound Stage in Miami, FL, the Heaven & Hell Fashion Show at Club 1509 which was sponsored by Ego Trip Magazine, the Pan American Festival in Chicago, and the Grand Opening of Muvico. RyanJoy! is scheduled to perform throughout Central Florida in the coming months at various venues.
She has been aggressively pursuing music since teaming up with her management team, Platinum Starz, in 2000. She hopes by bringing positive beats and a style all her own she can become not only a prominent figure in the music industry but a positive role model as well. RyanJoy! is here to stay! |

RyanJoy! Demo Review
“Don’t You Hate It” .....This song I related to right away when I first listened to the song, then hit me even more when I listened to it once again ;) This song has alot of power. In a teenager’s language, being one myself, it is talking about how you hook up with a guy who tells you he promises to do all these things for you and he will always be there, bassically promising the world to you...so on and so on. But then as the relationship goes on, things just keep falling apart and so does he with breaking his promises. Then finally you realize he relates to the quote, “Things aren’t always what they seem.” The beats and music are hot, a little different then most songs out now, definitely a hit! I read this in the press packet and on her official site about this first single “Every lady will have this song on her lips and proclaim it as their national anthem.” and I agree, because it has now become mine! :)
“SOS” .....I don’t think I have ever heard a song about this topic before. Atleast not that I could recognize right away like I was able to with this one. For those of you who haven’t heard it, it’s about a woman who gets her heart broken and a man comes along and just happens to be at the right place at the right time. He keeps her heart from being broken again, and does everything he can to keep her from any more pain she could go through. This song has a great sound, and plus a very talented vocalist, yes I mean Ryan Joy, to make the song a hit!
Overall, this demo was awesome! I love the sound...and Ryan Joy is an amazing singer!! I won’t be surprised if I eventually see her on MTV or BET one of these days. She has the sound and look to make it big! And to all of you music lovers out there, or people just reading this ;) definitely make sure to make it to one of Ryan Joy’s shows some day. You will be surprised what kind of talent you see hit the stage!
Last, I want to thank Ryan Joy and A’me (Ryan Joy’s manager) for making this all happen. I’ve had alot of fun preparing for this interview, finally being able to hear Ryan Joy’s stuff, since I missed the oppurtunities I didn’t know I had at shows I attended which I didn’t know she was going to be performing at! :P But in any event...Thanks again!
