Artist description Formerly known as Vicolo D, they present the first official CD: a new roots Jamaican style album, including seven songs with lyrics in Italian and some English, plus a final dub. A very pleasant and painstaking work produced under the supervision of Stena from Reggae National Tickets.

Artist History Born in 98 with the name Vicolo D they have always proposed their own compositions. In 99, Vicolo D recorded their first work, a demo CD with three tracks, creating a pop, funky and reggae mixed sound. This brought the band to be part of big events, like the famous Rototom Sunsplash, playing also as support band, in some of the many gigs, of artists like Yellowman and Morgan Heritage. In 2000 the second recording, a self-produced eight tracks CD, adding to their music some ska and rock-steady. In 2001, the change of the name from "Vicolo D" to "Realize", brings new and fresh ideas and the band records its new album with eight songs, named "Ciņ che č stato fatto" (alma music / Rasta Snob Records - amp snob 0005 cd), being able to achieve an exclusively Jamaican reggae sound. In that summer Realize take part again to Rototom Sunsplash and to the compilation with the same name (alma music / Rasta Snob Records - amp snob 0003 cd) with the song "We are going to zion".

Additional Info Love, social issues, spirituality, are the main peculiarity of Realize's lyrics, that intend to carry on Rober Nesta Marley message, to spread, with reggae music, tolerance and equality between people and the prophetic word of the Messiah.
