Who say that Matthias is mad? He says so himself like mad - read this quote: 'No-one would be mad about a madman, except those who themselves are mad. How do you define madness? How do you do? Well, for the mad it's not mad at all, but to any ordinary person anything out of the ordinary must be madness.
Mad Matthias do not sing and play for 'the ordinary', but for those who sees things that drive them mad. Mad Matthias plays for the ones who want to have their eyes opened and see the madness in themselves and the surrounding world. He who dares open his eyes to the bright shining light, he who wants everything exposed to light - with the risc of being enlightened himself.
Worship of idols and stars is abhorent to Mad Matthias. That's the reason why he keeps a low profile and tries to keep his person out of focus. He can be quite mad with if some head make head lines on him, and he'd loose his head: 'Why don't you use your own heads!' he'd say.
So, who is this Mad Matthias really? No-one will tell on him, 'cause you never can tell...
