Artist History
The Eddie Gomez/ Mark Kramer Trio is an internationally recognized award
winning tour de force. They have appeared on TV and concert stages all over
the world. Currently Eddie Gomez-Mark Kramer Productions and trio are touring worldwide, performing original tunes and standards, as well as "Jazz Fiddler On The Roof" in concert.
Legendary bassist EDDIE GOMEZ has been on the cutting edge of the jazz scene since his debut in the mid-sixties. Mr. Gomez attended Julliard College. His impressive resume includes performances with Jazz giants such as Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Evans, Gerry Mulligan, Benny Goodman, and Chic Corea. Eddie Gomez' unique sound and style can be heard on hundreds of recordings spanning
the worlds of jazz, classical, latin jazz, folk, and popular music (e.g., Bobby Darin, Carly Simon and Art Garfunkle).
MARK KRAMER, jazz pianist, composer, arranger, is known for a lyrical, warm jazz style and virtuoso piano work. Kramer's jazz arrangements of Broadway shows are acclaimed worldwide. His EVITA en Jazz is distributed on TELARC
International Records. The recipient of numerous awards, Kramer also teaches master classes in jazz improvisation and harmony at leading universities. The group on the recording of Jazz Fiddler on the Roof is rounded out by uniquely talented drummer and recording artist JOHN MOSEMANN. Mr. Mosemann has recorded and performed with Eddie and Mark. since 1994. On "Originals, vol.1" the trio is also rounded out by master drummers Joe Chambers and Freddie Waites.
